# ScopeProof Terms and Product Boundary

ScopeProof compares one proposed action with one explicit authority envelope supplied by the caller. A within_scope result means the action satisfied the constraints ScopeProof evaluated. It does not establish legal authority, identity, ownership, security, safety, regulatory compliance, desirability, or permission outside the supplied policy. outside_scope is a deterministic mismatch with at least one supplied constraint. review_required means the supplied policy requires an approval signal that was not present. ScopeProof never executes the proposed action.
